Waypoint TV Adds Female-led Artemis Podcast

Austin, Texas – June 13, 2023 – The world’s leading entertainment destination for hunting, fishing, and outdoor adventure programming, Waypoint TV, is announcing the addition of a new and adventurous podcast from women who are redefining the conversation around hunting, fishing, and conservation; the Artemis Podcast. You can listen to Artemis Podcast for free on the Waypoint TV website and app and across all major podcast outlets like Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, and iHeartRadio.

The Artemis podcast is a “must listen” for all sportswomen who love to get out in the field to chase big game, fish a blue-ribbon stream, and advocate for wildlife and public lands. In upcoming episodes, you’ll learn about how the changing climate impacts our favorite landscapes, why prescribed fires are good for wildlife, tips for training your hunting dog, and how you can most effectively advocate for conservation issues. Join Artemis program manager and host Carlee Koutnik as she interviews women pursuing their passions on our nation’s lands and waters.

Sportswomen are the fastest-growing demographic in the sporting space. Artemis boasts 65 volunteers across the nation, engaging an audience of over 14,000 members, and aspires to cultivate and grow this rich and inclusive community of sportswomen and create fresh tracks for conservation.

“Whether you’re a lifelong sportswoman or just getting started, the Artemis podcast introduces you to women from all walks of life who redefine what it means to be a woman hunter, angler, and conservationist. You will laugh, learn, and feel motivated to start your next outdoor adventure while also advocating for the wildlife we cherish,” said the host of the Artemis podcast, Carlee Koutnik.

“We are very excited to add the adventurous, educational, and female-driven podcast, Artemis, to the Waypoint TV Podcast Network,” said Waypoint TV’s Marketing Coordinator, Sereena Thompson. “The conversations about conservation, wildlife, wilderness navigation, and so much more is needed to encourage younger generations of women who are passionate about hunting, fishing, and protecting our great outdoors.”

About Artemis Podcast

As Artemis sportswomen and conservationists, we do more than hunt and fish. We have an obligation to give, receive, and embody an inclusive culture. The complete sportswoman can skin a deer, land a burly brown trout, and navigate the wild; she knows her game commissioners and politicians, knows her wildlife laws, defends all wildlife, advocates on their behalf, and teaches others these skills. We must expect the next generation to enjoy the privilege of our irreplaceable lands, waters, and wildlife with our direct engagement in all facets of sporting conservation life. Artemis embodies the definition of the complete sportswoman and sees it as our duty to use our platform to promote and teach this philosophy.
